The Amhara Association of Nebraska (AAN) is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization registered in the state of Nebraska. Amhara Association of Nebraska is primary opposed to the Abiy Ahmed government of Ethiopia, which is engaged in Amhara genocide, displacement, and ethnic cleansing. Consequently, AAN is unifying with other similar Amhara associations to expose Abiy Ahmed’s atrocity to the world at large through diplomacy and advocacy. Mission Statement
The mission of the Amhara Association of Nebraska is to demand unconditional and
immediate stoppage of Amhara genocide, displacement, and ethnic cleansing in
Ethiopia. The Amhara Association of Nebraska works with other global Amhara
associations to urge world governments to isolate the Abiy government from
participating in international bilateral relations, impose economic sanctions, travel
restrictions, and an arms embargo, and possibly depose him from power, apprehend
him, and send him to the international criminal court.
Goals
- Inform and educate the Ethiopian people and the global community about
Amhara genocide, displacement, and ethnic cleansing. - Plan, organize, and implement means and ways to stop Amhara genocide,
displacement, and ethnic cleansing. - Fundraise to help the displaced, the orphaned, the handicapped, and the elderly
have shelter, food on the table, and possibly resettlement.
